I purchased a breast-feeding necklace and a reminder bracelet from Breast-Buddies, for my daughter Scarlett. The bracelet was for me - to remind me which breast was for Scarlett's next feed (you can easily forget & the bracelet is an east-glance reminder). The necklace was for Scarlet - to make feeding fun.I always planned on breastfeeding my child and had no idea that there were useful items on sale for mother & baby to make it more enjoyable. Scarlett loves playing with her necklace 
and the bells. I plan to put it in her memory box when she is older as a keepsake.

I have to say that this product is Amazing! My daughter started playing with it immediately while nursing and that was a great relieve to my skin as she had started pinching my breast (and then rolling the skin) while nursing. OUCH! I have since found several other things that this product is great for. For example as I carry my daughter around on my hip she has started gripping (and pulling) my hair to feel secure, I have learned that if I wear my Breast Buddies Nursing Necklace she will hold onto it instead of my hair!
I bought a breast buddies necklace and bracelet set for two reasons (actually i bought two different sets so i could keep swapping them!). The reason I bought the necklace was because my daughter Thea who was 5 weeks old at the time had a habit of digging her nails into my breast as she was feeding. After a while that gets quite painful! I mentioned it to a friend who then sent me a link for Laura's necklaces on eBay because she had used one for the same reason. What a difference it made!! No more painful feeds! Thea happily plays with the necklace whilst feeding and now that she is almost 4 months it keeps her focused on the feed too. The few times i have fed in public without using the necklace i have regretted not having it with me! Thea gets easily distracted from her feed and without the necklace she would start to latch off and look around her leaving me on display to whomever happened to walk by! The necklace stops that happening because the different sized beads and bells keep her entertained while she feeds. The reason I got the bracelet too was because having a baby had seriously messed with my memory! Keeping track of which breast to feed from next was a nightmare. I tried using a hair bobble on my wrist to remind me but it looked unsightly and either snapped or got too tight. Now i have two different bracelets so i can swap them to match what I'm wearing and they look nice too. Now i just swap the bracelet from wrist to wrist during a feed so i know which side is next! I would recommend both products to any breastfeeding mother. It even kept Thea happy while we were flying home to the
I love the new nursing necklace! And so does my little girl! I was having trouble with her scratching and pinching me when she was eating, and the necklace gives her something to hold onto and look at when she’s eating. It’s great, and the beads are very pretty too. Thank you so much!
When i first fell pregnant i was very reluctant to breast feed until my partner Darren told me in so many ways that i HAD too and now i feel it was the best thing i have ever done not only for my baby but also for me. To see my baby looking up at me when feeding for the first time was a magical experience and still is now. To be honest i had never heard of Nursing Necklaces until christmas and Darren bought me one as a gift from our new baby Rhys. It was made more special by having “Rhys' “ in the necklace. I started using it straight away which i think made feed times a more interesting and now Rhys is 4 months old he loves to grab the beads and shake the bells. Breast Buddies Nursing Necklaces have seriously changed mine and my daughters attitude towards breastfeeding, she will feed for hours on end sometimes and just happily plan with them. No more scratch marks, no more pulling off the breast and hurting me (ouch!), no more teary conversations with my husband about me wanting to give up breastfeeding because of my daughter hurting me or pulling my hair. Now she is coming up to her 6 month birthday and I still use these everyday without fail. I haven't had to give her any formula/bottles as these really have been remarkable. Using the breastfeeding necklace has allowed my baby to have some continuity for my baby when someone else was feeding her using my expressed milk. I feel the necklace has helped with her hand eye-coordination. The baby bells helps to stimulate her interest in the necklace which also helps to keep her focus on the job in hand, especially when there is a lot of noise and movement going on.
